Red Bank, New Jersey -- Ansell, the world leader in hand protection, introduces a line of gloves designed specifically for the unique needs of construction trades – ActivArmr® Jobsite Gear. Recognizing that each construction trade presents unique hand protection challenges, Activarmr® meets the hand protection needs of professionals in the field. ActivArmr® Trade Specific is a product offering of six glove types that provide an optimal balance of protection, dexterity and comfort never before seen in the construction industry.
Through extensive research on job sites, users told Ansell what their needs were in a glove. Feedback drove the unique feature combinations for each of the Activarmr® Trade Specific Gloves:
The Activarmr® Mason Glove offers superior comfort, giving hands the ultimate protection against extreme stress, fatigue and abrasions that come with the most demanding masonry jobs. Also gives twice the abrasion protection as standard leather gloves* and goat skin leather padding delivers increased durability and impact protection.
The Activarmr® Heavy Laborer Glove provides superior all-day wear comfort and the ultimate protection from punctures, cuts and abrasions, while handling concrete, wood or metal debris. Gives six times more cut protection than standard leather gloves** and silicone gel padding adds absorption from impact and vibration across stress points.
The Activarmr® Electrician Glove delivers breathable, second-skin dexterity while providing protection against wire punctures, cuts and abrasions. Provides three times more puncture protection and four times more cut protection than standard leather gloves.*
The Activarmr® Plumber Glove allows professionals to slide materials through their hands while providing advanced fingertip grip in addition to protection, comfort and durability. The liner, made with DuPont™ Kevlar®, ensures the glove provides four times the cut protection of standard leather gloves.***
